Fredo6 is a library for C# and VB typical applications. It provides extensive collections types and operations without bounds checking, which is typical in .NET runtime. Fredo6 includes: It also includes: Some libraries used in the development of this project: - System. Collections - System. Runtime - System. IO - System. Threading - System. Net. WebClient Fredo6 has the following features: The library does not bind to CIL, but it is still .NET language based so you can use tons of classes in your program. For example, you can use collections like List or Dictionary directly in your programs without binding to an assembly like System.Collections.dll or System.Dictionary.dll (object creation / conversion is done when needed). the idea was born when working with collections; e.g. the List class. Fredo6 is a very simple library that can be integrated into your programs without any problems. Most operations are executed in O(1) manner; for example, adding an element to the beginning of the list is done in constant time O(1). Similarly, deleting an element from the middle of the list takes O(1) time like moving all the items after it (except for one) over to fill the gap. This is not true for List; inserting or deleting at any position other than the beginning or end is O(n), which gets worse as you move further down (due to all elements having to move around). On the other hand, this is not true for array access. Consider the following statement: Fredo6 implements hashtables that allow you to get key/value correspondence in constant time O(1) even when you do not know any element's index. This is thanks to Fredo6's hash table implementation. At each insertion or deletion of the array, Fredo6 generates a cmp object which compares your keys with all values points to. The performance of accessing an element's index is lost because it requires contacting all pointers contained in all items contained in the array (which can be under 10 k). On the other hand, Fredo6's hashtables give you the ability to determine equality and inequality (with a sense of -1, 0, 1). So if you search for an element that contains a key that does not exist in your table, then you can directly return FALSE without having to go through all items in the table. The following test was performed on Windows XP SP2 AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.0 GHZ with 3 GB of RAM using release build import System; import System. eccc085e13
